Getting scanned early for cancer can save lives. But for people with little or no money or health insurance, affording those scans might seem impossible. However, the Screening for Life (SFL) program provides payment for cancer screen tests to qualified Delaware adults who meet age, income and insurance eligibility guidelines. SFL can provide free or lower-cost screenings for prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, mammograms, clinical breast exams and Pap tests. These campaign materials alert people who could be at risk for cancer that financial assistance may be available to cover their medical care or testing.
