Screenings that detect cancer early are critical. So is getting patients into treatment quickly and supporting them through the rest of the journey.

Screening for Life

Free screenings for breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancer for eligible Delaware residents.

Nurse Navigators

Specially trained clinicians who can help patients schedule screenings and move through the process with fewer barriers.

Care coordination and practical support for patients as they move through treatment and follow-up care.

Weekly survivorship sessions that help people maintain daily routines, manage symptoms, and build healthy habits after treatment.

Free Screenings

Screening for Life

Screening for Life offers free cancer screenings for eligible Delaware residents. Patients may qualify if they:

  • Are Delaware residents
  • Have health insurance that does not cover screenings
  • Are between 18 and 64 years old and are not eligible for Medicaid
  • Are 65 years of age or older and do not qualify for Medicare
  • Meet income guidelines
  • Are not eligible for health insurance

Delaware Cancer Treatment Program

Patients who have been diagnosed with cancer may qualify for help covering treatment costs if they:

  • Were Delaware residents when diagnosed with cancer
  • Were diagnosed on or after July 1, 2004
  • Do not have comprehensive insurance or face out-of-pocket costs above 15% of income
  • Do not receive benefits through the Medicaid Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program
  • Meet income guidelines up to 650% of the federal poverty level
  • Are not eligible for health insurance
