The Subcommittee’s Role

The Healthy Lifestyles Subcommittee of the Cancer Risk Reduction Committee (CCRC) has been developed to study and recommend policies that could positively influence healthy lifestyles in Delaware across the life course. The Subcommittee is chaired by Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long. Health Management Associates has been contracted to provide facilitation, outreach, and independent research and analysis for the work of the subcommittee. The Subcommittee is responsible for developing actionable policy recommendations and presenting them to the Governor by June 2020 to positively influence healthy eating and active living in Delaware.
